Tree work is among the most hazardous professions in the United States with an incident rate far higher than almost all other industries. The new Z133 Safety Requirements for Arboricultural Operations is out, and following these standards not only is a government requirement, they can protect the lives of your workers. There are many changes in the standard from the Z133 2012 edition to reflect the changes in equipment and practices. This one-day workshop will cover all the key changes in working near electrical conductors, aerial lift operations, chain saw use, manual tree felling, and climbing, among others. These changes, and how they can increase our safety and productivity, will be discussed and demonstrated in an interactive format.
