Important Requirements:

Pesticide Applicator License No.
(If applicable, must be submitted to process application.) The state of Michigan requires that any business applying pesticide for hire must odtain a commercial pesticide applicator license. Contact the Michigan Department of Agriculture or M.G.I.A. office for more information.

Nursery Stock License No.
(If applicable, must be submitted to process application.) The state of Michigan requires a license if you install or sell plant materials for hire. Please Contact the Michigan Department of Agriculture or M.G.I.A. office for more information.

Membership Classifications and Requirement:

   ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP ($195 per year): Sole proprietor, partnerships,corporations engaged in the contracting segment of the landscape industry in the State of Michigan. They shall be holders of licences as required by the Michigan Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Plant Industry and meet all other legal requirements.  


   ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP ($195 per year): Sole proprietor, partnerships or corporations actively engaged in allied trades and shall be holders of licenses as required by the Michigan Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Plant Industry and meet all other legal requirements. 
   MUNICIPAL MEMBERSHIP ($195 per year)

   KEY EMPLOYEE/BRANCH LOCATION MEMBERSHIP ($65 per year): Shall be affiliated with a member company, and have availability to all functions, literature, etc., of the M.G.I.A.. Key Employee or Branch Location must be sponsored by the parent member company (will receive the Landsculptor magazine & all mailings of the association).
