Most people agree that mosquitoes can be a serious pest. What people may not realize is that they are also vectors for some serious diseases. Michigan mosquitoes are "host" to FIVE viruses. World-wide, over one million people die each year from mosquito-borne illnesses! In Michigan we have about 65 species of mosquitoes in 5 different “groups”. In this class learn the life cycle of these pests, control methods and laws & regulations governing mosquito control.
