Michael Brodzik, Occupational Safety Consultant, MIOSHA CET Division, presents a brief overview of significant cases involving skidsteers and skidloaders, based on enforcement activity from inspections and investigations within the green industry.  He will briefly talk about applicable standards when this equipment is used and hazards and items that are cited by MIOSHA.
This class will cover the safe and efficient use of compact construction equipment such as Skid Steer Loaders.  Jobsite safety is the highest priority global initiative from Caterpillar, so we’ll be sharing best practices from around the globe to ensure safe operating practices.  This presentation will allow attendees to see first-hand the operation and maintenance of skid steers, available attachments and proper securement techniques.  Live demonstrations and audience participation will be offered.
