This course is designed to assist in the development and training of newly hired and less experienced technicians in areas of landscape, tree care, lawn care, irrigation and other technicians interested in expanding their knowledge of plant health care.  We will cover the types of damage done by insects and diseases, as well as the life cycle and development of the most common, and the trees you will see them on.  Some approaches to combating these insects and diseases will also be covered in this session, and we will learn which insects and diseases are the most common in the Michigan landscapes.  This course will help you become a better technician and landscaper through confidence and understanding of insect and disease damage, life cycle and improved identification.
