	Education The MGIA conducts classes and workshops for green industry professionals in the areas of Landscape-Design/Build, Maintenance, Tree Care, Plant Health Care, Irrigation, Hardscapes, Water Features, Lighting, Snow Removal and Human Resources. Classes are tailored to business owners, supervisors, managers and technicians. Most, if not all, offer CEUs.
	Certification The Landscape Industry Certified Techinician exam is an international hands-on testing program administered by associations throughout the U.S. and Canada that seeks to recognize proficiency in the landscape workforce, upgrade the status of the landscape professional and provide the public with a means of identifying qualified landscape professionals. The MGIA is proud to be selected by National Assoication of Landscape Professionals (NALP) to administer this program in the state of Michigan. 	The Landsculptor Published monthly, the Landsculptor, is the premier green industry publication for the State of Michigan. Free to members, the magazine includes informative articles covering green industry related information, seasonally relevant subjects, legislative and industry news. It also serves as advertising media for the area’s finest trade suppliers and services.
	Trade Show and Convention Our Annual Trade Show & Convention gives our members the opportunity to see the green industry's latest and most innovative products and services, plus two full days of educational classes.

The group dividend program offers low-cost group rates with a 5% up-front discount on workers' compensation for qualifying MGIA members, with no minimum premium to qualify.
